Job Title – Creative Director

Summary: We are looking for a Creative Director to strategize and lead our in-house creative activities from ideation to execution. This position is 100% remote with travel a couple of times a year.

Essential Functions

Lead full cycle development of innovative and on-brand creative assets. Set creative strategy.

Ensure cohesive and compelling visual language across multichannel brand touch points.

Own brand personality implementations through visual assets across art direction, web design, social media, digital presence, product packaging and all marketing collaterals.

Manage and provide leadership to the in-house creative team consisting of designers, copywriters, content creators. Coach, mentor and develop the creative team.

Maintain relationships with external collaborators. Monitor creative agencies and freelancers.

Establish industry standard processes in the creative department. Ensure adherence.

Oversee sourcing, creation, maintenance and augmentation of original creative content across ecommerce platforms, social media, promotions and campaigns.

Manage creative department budget. Collaborate with other functions. Optimize ROI.

Identify improvement areas. Provide periodic reports on relevant metrics to management.

Experience And Qualifications


    8-10 years of experience in development and execution of integrated and innovative creative campaigns, ideally in the ecommerce/ digital media space. At least 3 years in a leadership role.

    Strong background in creative content management, graphic design and social media.

    Experience running a creative team across various digital marketing channels.

    Up to date on creative content trends, visual language best practices and various design styles.

    Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Adobe Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.

    Basic understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics & strategies (SEO, PPC, Display).

    Exposure to performance enhancing online collaborative tools like Asana and Slack.

    Ability to work with cross-functional teams and contribute effectively.

    Excellent leadership and organizing skills. High motivation and ethical standards.

    Strategic and creative thinking; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with and influence senior management and executive positions.

    Academic Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. May be offset by commensurate industry experience.


    MBA degree is a plus.

    Previous experience in either consumer goods or cosmetic & beauty industry preferred.

    Exposure to leadership roles in Digital Marketing and/ or eCommerce majors an advantage.
