Community Manager


MoxieLash® is a leader in the e-commerce lash space, with an 8 figure yearly digital advertising spend. We are the company that brought the Magnetic Eyelashes & Eyeliner to the world (2018) and created the all-new Lashies by MoxieLash (2020), a no magnet, no glue lash solution that comes with a clear bonding eyeliner. We are a fully remote, cloud-based organization with a team of over 50 individuals. Our team is smart, fast, agile, self-accountable, and collaborative. We are growing into a much bigger beauty brand, with multiple innovative product categories.

Job Summary

The Community Manager will be responsible for growing, managing, and delighting an engaged community of MoxieLash® patrons. Responsibilities will also include overall coordination and execution of our corporate Facebook Live sessions.

Who You Are

You’re an energetic, detail-oriented, social media savvy professional with extensive experience in nurturing online user communities and coordinating social media community engagement events like professional Facebook Live sessions. You will:

Develop, manage, and grow online channels for community engagement. Respond to chats, DM’s, social media messages and queries. Meaningfully engage regularly and effectively, moderate community discussions, and promote the MoxieLash brand in social media platforms.

Monitor and analyze community messages, feedback, and content performance to continuously improve relevance, quality, tone, and reach.

Identify and nurture online brand champions and advocates across various social media forums. Engage with influencers in the target communities to build excitement on MoxieLash offerings.

Coordinate with the content and social media teams to augment published/shared content, improve distribution frequency, and finetune community engagement processes for optimal ROI.

Own logistical details and ensure smooth broadcast of MoxieLash’s Facebook Live sessions. Manage all coordination to address optimal client engagement during such sessions, paying close attention to reactions, comments, and shares during the live-feed event.

Support the Facebook Live initiators with associated coordination activities like sending out invitations, scheduling, announcing, or sending reminders for a proposed event. Crosspost the Facebook Live feed to multiple pages. Embed the Face Live stream on our webpage for increasing target audience catchment.


  • - 1-3 years as an online community manager on social media with extensive experience in coordinating corporate Facebook Lives.
  • - Well versed in commonly used large social media platforms and expert on the unique nuances of the typical user communities in each of them.
  • - High social intelligence with exceptional relationship building and communication skills.
  • - Keen eye for content trends and proven acumen to engage user communities in productive conversations, deftly promoting the parent brand in community discussions.
  • - Strong in-depth knowledge of the Facebook platform. Awareness of latest tool and features like Live Producer for best-in-class Facebook Live performance.
  • - Expert level familiarity with various encoders and livestream event audio-visual tools that can augment Facebook Live performance.
  • - Strong work ethics with ability to coordinate with multi-level stakeholders.
  • - High motivational levels, ability to multi-task, prioritize and take ownership.
  • - BA in communications, public relations, or marketing or equivalent from a recognised institution; can be offset by commensurate industry experience in similar role.


  • - Prior experience in similar role with eCommerce retailers preferred.
